From November 18 to 19, 2017, the 3rd National University Non-destructive Testing (Ultrasound) Skills Competition was successfully held at Nanchang HangKong University. The contest was organized by CHSNDT Education-Training and Science Professional Conference, Nanchang HangKong University Institute of Testing and Optoelectronic Engineering, Guangdong Shantou Ultrasound Electronics Co., Ltd., the event was strongly support by Shandong Ruixiang Mould Co., Ltd., Shanghai SIMAITE non-destructive testing technology consulting Co. , Ltd.

From Lanzhou Petrochemical Polytechnic, Nanchang HangKong University, Bohai ShipBuilding Vocational College, Lanzhou Institute of Technology, Tianjin Maritime College, Xi`an Polytechnic University, Zhongshan Polytechnic, Guangxi Electric Polytechnic Institute, Shenzhen Polytechnic, Southwest Petroleum University, total 23 universities, nearly 160 representatives of participating teachers and students gathered in Hero City In Nanchang HangKong University National Engineering Laboratory, non-destructive testing technology Ministry of Education key laboratories to learn skills.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Song Kai, Head of the Department of Testing and Optoelectronic Engineering, Nanchang HangKong University, Liu Weidong, Vice President of Nanchang HangKong University, Xu Yongchang, Director-General of CHSNDT, and Lu Chao, Vice Chairman of CHSNDT, respectively, representing Nanchang HangKong University, CHSNDT and the organizers of the Conference,  warmly congratulated the opening of the conference, and made speeches on the technical characteristics, application areas and development trends of non-destructive testing, examples of service socio-economic development, and the preparation of the contest. Subsequently, the referee's representative the Shanghai Ship Technology Research Institute Ding Bing and the representatives of the participating team members made solemn oaths.
